Explore the Desert terrain of the Sahara

Spend 8 magical days travelling through the Sahara, an adventure that must be experienced at least once in a life time. The trek takes you over the great rolling sand dunes of the L'Oued Draa, where you will experience a variety of terrains, from hard rock surfaces to soft desert sand.

The desert was once a treacherous place, Touregs and Berber warriors once roamed the land making it difficult to cross. This large expanse of land has seen many travellers endure the long journey from one side to the other.

While you are on the trek you will see sights like no other...clear night skies lit up by millions of shining stars, and miles and miles of red rolling dunes imprinted with the footprints of travellers past, soon to be wiped away by a gust of wind. The environment encouraging a feeling of peace and serenity.

The winter months sees relatively cool weather, making it a prefect time to enjoy trekking through the desert. Equipment and personal belongings are carried by camel, so it is really only necessary to carry a small backpack with things that you may need regularly like water and of course a camera to catch the amazing views.
